I found something quietly hilarious about the advice given us today. There was just such a range from the macro to the microcosmic. Right from the grand machines of politics to the fact that Kevin Rudd only likes to read Tahoma Size 12 font. This sort of summed up for me the breadth of everything that we have to deal with and the unpredictable dynamic between the important and the seemingly inconsequential. The need to constantly justify your need for funding was a reminder that everything essentially comes back to economics
